The pool water looked a little cloudy to me so we didn't swim otherwise the place is very clean and well maintained. I didn't find any outdoor spaces/courtyards but didn't ask either. There are distant mountains on the vista but mostly high desert terrain to view (flat land with bushes).

The décor throughout is gorgeous, artistic, and represents various aspects of nature. Downtown Flagstaff is 28 miles away, a thirty minute drive. This family friendly resort is built on expansive acreage with nothing around for miles no nearby stores, restaurants, or gas stations although there are four restaurants at the resort as well as a gift shop.
